# Public website interfaces | Tropk

DOCUMENTATION

## Public website interfaces

Explore published content and understand form contracts, limits, and retry rules.

## Public website access

Use these interfaces to find and read Tropk’s published pages, articles, and resources. No account or API key is required. They do not provide access to the platform, CMS, drafts, leads, or customer data.

[OpenAPI specification](/openapi.json). [API catalog](/.well-known/api-catalog). [MCP server card](/server-card); [MCP](/en/resources/glossary/model-context-protocol) endpoint: /mcp/website.

## Documents API

GET /api/website/v1/documents?limit=20 lists titles, summaries, sections, and URLs. q searches for words in titles/summaries; it is not an AI-generated answer. limit accepts 1–50; nextCursor indicates the next offset, or null at the end. The inventory may change between queries.

GET /api/website/v1/documents?path=/precos reads the document in Markdown. Use only paths returned by the list. Private, external, nonexistent, or non-indexable paths are rejected.

The /v1 version preserves the response format; breaking changes will be offered in another version. New fields may be added. Check the published specification before integrating.

## MCP for search and reading

Configure an MCP client to use Streamable HTTP transport at /mcp/website. The server is stateless: each POST is a JSON-RPC message; it does not create sessions. Include Accept: application/json, text/event-stream. GET returns 405 because no server-initiated stream is available.

search\_website accepts query, cursor, and limit; read\_website\_document accepts a published path. Both are read-only tools. resources/list provides the tropk://website/index index; resources/templates/list describes tropk://website/document{?path} documents.

The tools do not submit forms or generate reports. Preserve caveats and cite URLs when using the content. Query errors have isError; protocol errors follow JSON-RPC.

## Markdown and structured feeds

Append .md to public pages; the home page uses /index.md. Accept: text/markdown and ?mode=agent are also supported. The formats reflect the same version published in Payload.

[llms.txt](/llms.txt) is the entry index; [llms-full.txt](/llms-full.txt) contains the complete list of documents. [schemamap.xml](/schemamap.xml) announces [the JSONL feed](/feeds/public-pages.jsonl), which reuses the actual [JSON-LD](/en/resources/glossary/json-ld) from the home page and institutional pages. The feed is not a private data API.

## Limits and recovery

API/MCP reading allows 120 requests per IP address every 15min on each instance. Forms allow 20 submissions/IP/15min; the checklist also limits new registrations to 8/email/hour in the database. The infrastructure may apply additional limits.

Responses include RateLimit-Limit, RateLimit-Remaining, RateLimit-Reset, and RateLimit-Policy when the limiter is applied. On 429, honor Retry-After before trying again. These in-memory limits are not a global quota across replicas.

REST errors use error (message), code (identifier), status, and recovery (where to find guidance). 400 requires a correction, 403 is a refusal, 404 indicates a missing document/material, 409 indicates a conflict/retry, 429 requires waiting, and 503 indicates unavailability or an uncertain result.

## Forms and authorization

Submitting forms records data and may initiate processing. Do so only with the person’s authorization for the data and purpose. The MCP read tools do not perform these actions.

POST /api/resources/checklists/{key} accepts JSON or form data. Send email and resourceSlug; name and companyWebsite are optional. Provide the UUID key in Idempotency-Key or the idempotencyKey field; both must match. Accept: application/json returns downloadUrl; authorization expires in 5min. Without this Accept header, the download may return XLSX.

POST /api/website/report accepts JSON with domain, leadFirstName, and leadEmail; leadLastName and leadWhatsapp are optional. Idempotency-Key UUID is required. The 202 response contains reportId, redirectUrl, and statusUrl, and Location points to JSON status tracking. It confirms acceptance; it does not mean the report is complete. GET on statusUrl returns pending/uncertain for delivery, or processing/ready/failed according to the report’s actual state; honor Retry-After. Keep the key and statusUrl as private links. No contact or project data is returned by website status tracking. Submissions require the same Origin as the site and a body of up to 16 KiB.

## Safe retries

Reuse the same key only with the same normalized data. The checklist reconciles registration by unique key; changing fields results in 409. The report reserves a unique, persistent receipt in Payload before forwarding processing. Concurrent submissions do not start another flow with the same key.

A pending or uncertain request is never retried automatically. If the connection drops, do not generate another key to try again: use the contact channel. A key is not account authorization or a guarantee that processing will be completed.

## Clients and reading instructions

[Dependency-free JavaScript client](/agents/tropk-public-reader.mjs). [Node CLI](/agents/tropk-public-cli.mjs); keep both files in the same folder. Example: node tropk-public-cli.mjs search [GEO](/en/resources/glossary/geo).

[Download skill, rules, and read-only plugin](/agents/tropk-public-reading.zip). The artifacts are prepared for the new website; they are not published on npm, skills.sh, or a marketplace. They do not provide write commands.

## Privacy and contact

See [privacy](/en/privacy) and [terms](/en/terms) before submitting data. Questions: contato@tropk.ai. Open content may be cited; this does not grant a license to operate accounts or access third-party data.

The interfaces and documents are prepared on the new site. Availability on the public domain, [indexing](/en/resources/glossary/indexing), and external listings depend on publication and should be verified in that environment.
